My Tillandsia cyanea has flowered!
My mum brought back our Tillandsia cyanea from her office due to the inflorescence which the plant has happily put out. I could tell that the plant was happy from receiving enough sun, judging from the maroon coloured leaves of the Tillandsia.

Usually, I do not get to witness the purplish-blue flowers of Tillandsia cyanea much, due to the short lifespan of the flowers. In fact when I got the plant from tropiflora at SGF 06, the flowers did not appear due to rotting of the flower buds. When the plants arrived in Singapore, water was stuck in the inflorescene and it eventually rotted.
To my delight, the flowers lasted longer this time the plant bloomed! I managed to capture the blue flowers on camera and posted it on GCS.

Hopefully, this plant will continue to pup more and provide me with more flowers each year!
